Prof. Johan Steyn is an Artificial Intelligence and Automation thought leader and speaks globally at conferences on the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Emerging Technologies. 2019 award winner Best AI & Robotics Management Consultant by Wealth & Finance magazine (UK). He has worked in senior roles for Nedbank, Accenture and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
He is a Global AI Ambassador with Swiss Cognitive, and is recognised as one of the top 50 global thought leaders in Artificial Intelligence. He is a Research Fellow at the School of Data Science and Computational Thinking at Stellenbosch University (South Africa). He is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Business at Woxsen University (India).
Johan has collaborated with organisations such as the United Nations, Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
He is the Chair of the Special Interest Group on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics with the IITPSA (Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa).
